A LOVE STORY OF OCEAN, FLAVOR, & CULTURAL HERITAGE

At the northernmost tip of the Indonesian archipelago, where the Sulawesi and Maluku Seas meet, stretches a vast marine expanse an endless blue tapestry of waves and wonder.

Here, in the heart of Minahasa, blessed by coral reefs, sea winds, and tides, live three fish that are more than just a catch. They are guardians of taste, tradition, and identity.

ROA

THE KEEPER OF HERITAGE

Ikan Roa

This humble little fish lives among the shallow coastal reefs of Minahasa. Wild and seasonal, it cannot be farmed only caught when nature allows. Carefully smoked by coastal mothers, then shredded and seasoned into floss roa carries the flavor of home.

TUNA

DEEP SEA VOYAGER

Ikan Tuna

A pride of the Sulawesi deep, tuna is powerful, fast, and rich in nutrients. It's the companion of sailors, a symbol of endurance amidst the waves. As fish floss, tuna becomes a bold and nourishing dish ideal for those who lead active lives and seek natural strength.

CAKALANG

THE PEACEKEEPER

Ikan Cakalang

A close cousin of tuna, cakalang is lighter, more approachable, and wonderfully versatile. Loved in everyday kitchens, it often appears in dishes like rica-rica, smoked preparations, or as savory fish floss. Its taste is warm and familiar like shared meals on a family veranda.
